13th November, 2001. 11:16 am. U2!!!!

We went to the U2 concert last night at the Staples Center. It was an awesome concert. In the beginning, I couldn't help but to compare it to the Depech Mode concert, even though I said I wouldn't. After I got over comparing, and after having more time to absorb last night, I like the concert more and more. It was difficult at first cuz I feel that Dave Gahan is way sexy! Even though I like more of U2's songs, Depech Mode was more fun to watch cuz Dave Gahan is more of a performer. He was just very entertaining to watch. But enough comparing... U2 was a way good concert! I love their music! When they sang One, they had names of the people on the planes that crashed on Sept. 11th projected all over the walls and ceilings. And they had this huge long screen that was the length of the stage scrolling with names of people on each plane. It was very powerful. And No Doubt was awesome too.

What a three day weekend! I feel like we did so much... so much shopping too! hee hee... yeah! Sucks though cuz I didn't get any studying done. =( I have this weekend to catch up. I have a busy week this week. I got assignments or papers due in all of my classes this week. It didn't occur to me that today would be Tuesday until I was on my way back from the concert. So I had to stay up til 3 doing my Physics homework. Good thing it was a rather short assignment! Just got one more Physics homework to do, a paper, and finish my logos for my digital arts class.

Oh yeah... did anyone come up with anything for the Vintage Hollywood theme?! I tried on a Marilyn Monroe dress at the costume shop, but it was too big... and doesn't support/cover my boobs very well. Any other suggestions? Is Gilligan Vintage Hollywood?
