random ramblings

8th August, 2001. 11:50 am.

I'm in lab right now. It sucks that just after I took a lab exam, I gotta worry about our next exam that's coming up. I only got 2 days (including today) in lab to figure it out. I was going to work on it right now, but I think I should read a bit more (okay, okay, so this is just an excuse for being lazy!). I'll work on it at home (really!).

Reguarding Jonathan's entry reguarding brownish-yellowish spots... the clay thing I used was bought at Pep Boys. There are several brands that makes it. I don't remember which brand I used, but I might be able to recognize it when I see it. Good thing is I only got it when my car was new, and after I removed it with the clay stuff, it never came back. Well, not nearly close to what originally was on anyway at least.

I'm still sore from my work out on Monday. I like being sore. The thing I didn't like about working out reguarly is that I didn't feel sore anymore! I tried to up my work out, but it's just not the same as working out after a long break! Ah... soreness! =) I also started stretching again last night... now it's been a really long time since I've stretched! I'm stiffer than what I use to be when I was dancing, but at the end of the night, I was okay. Not as flexible as before, but good enough for now. At least I didn't get sore from stretching... but of course, I also didn't do any hardcore stretches, like splits against the wall, Chinese splits,... but it was a good warm up. Dorothy wants to go workout at the ARC today after my class, but I didn't bring clothes and I don't want to hit traffic. I should prolly write this at home instead, huh? Shouldn't be wasting valuable lab time. Okay... will post when I get home.

Okay, so I'm home (It's about 2PM right now). It sucks to leave Irvine's 70 degree weather to come back to this 90 degree weather. I miss living in Irvine because of the weather, but I love being closer to Jonathan. Trade-off, eh? I left school early because I didn't go to discussion. I was debating whether I should leave early or not because leaving early means more time spent in the hot weather back home. In the end, I decided to leave... and for some odd reason, there was traffic! I hate traffic! Well, who doesn't. *shrug*

Last night, I beat Jonathan in a game of settlers! woo hoo! Well, I only won by one point, so I don't know if you could call it "beat", but what they hey... Yeah! =P It's such a fun game, and it's been such a long time since we've played. Back at AV, Sir, Jonathan, and I used to stay up til like 3 AM playing! I think we over did it then cuz we stopped playing for A LONG time. But it's still a kick ass game!

I got two game freaks at my house now! My bro in one room playing CS, and Jonathan in my room playing DiabloII. I tried playing CS... got motion sickness! Side note: I get car sick really easily. If I'm not driving, taking my eyes off the road for just a sec will make me sick! Anyway, it's so funny how Jonathan is soooooooo addicted to diablo. He's here playing like every night (at least I get to see him and spend the night with him). Then, this morning, I caught him waking up a little earlier to sneak in some playing time. *sigh* Kids... what can you do? hee hee... I thought it was cute when I caught him playing this morning. Such a kid!

This morning, on my way to school around 9:30, there was traffic on the 605S. That's just weird cuz there usually isn't that much traffic. After crawling for some time, I see the cause of traffic... STREET SWEEPING! What were they thinking... blocking off lanes to sweep while everyone's trying to get to work/school?! Geesh! Then, on my way back, they were now sweeping the other side, which was the side I'm now traveling on, but at least that was like at 1 PM and not 9 AM.

Current mood: jubilant.
