I just love girls day out. Linda, Winnie, Jenny and I hung out all day yesterday. It was so much fun!
We started with tea at the Hungtington Library.

We attended an "80's Cartoon Character" halloween party this past Saturday, so J and I spent our Saturday afternoon making our costume. :) He put his costume together all by himself! :)
It felt so good to sew again! It's been so long.

Some of you may already know, but I'm putting some of my girls up for adoption. Don't worry, only the boxed ones. :) i figure if i haven't opened them yet, i probably won't. i still look forward to having time after the wedding to sew and play with my girls again. for now, extra funds wouldn't hurt with the huge wedding expenses and i could use some space in our house. i'm sad, but i'm happy that they'll have more attention.

I took my kids on their first snowboarding trip yesterday. They all were so cute ("whoa, is THAT snow?! oh my gosh, it IS snow!"). And they all picked it up fast! They're all gonna be pros by the end of the 6th week!

It's been so long since I've micro-sewed. took awhile for me to adjust from people sewing back to dolly sewing. :P But thanks to the 4 day weekend, I had time to make all the mistakes I needed to get used to dolly sewing again.
So here's what took up my entire 4 day weekend:
It took literally an entire day just to take pics and list it on ebay. I had totally forgotten how long it all took. :\ Oh well, at least it's up now. :) I had trouble w/ some of the pics and after many tries, some still look washed out, but I'm not sure what else to do now so these will have to do. It feels good to be dollying again, but a bit nerve-racking at the same time b/c i've been out of it for so long. oh well, all i'm hoping for is a smooth transaction. :)
ah, now it's time to lesson plan. back to reality. it was a nice 4 day break from reality. :) hope you all had a nice weekend as well!

oh shoot, as i wrote that title, it reminded me that i was supposed to submit my thesis to my advisor tonight! oops. it's past my bed time already, I'll just have to explain tomorrow... that i spent my time sewing doll clothes instead of working on my thesis. >_<
oh well, at least i had fun! D: (that happend by accident, but i like it)
I have so many ideas right now so I'm too lazy to do a full outfit set for ebay. I just want to sew the little ideas that I have. So I will sell the pieces individually.
